First and foremost I am a fan of Ian & Martin etc BUT recent weeks have shown a complete lack of imagination in attack.
I watched Keighley`s match v Toronto. Keighley are coached byCraig Lingard who was John Kear`s #2 at Batley (4 years) & although only part time the Cougars took Toronto all the way & drew 26-26.
Some of Keighley`s attack was sparkling with Dummy Runners, Pi$$ offs, Face Balls, Speed off the mark, great long passes from dummy half etc etc - there were moves I haven`t seen in Super League for some time but what I saw basically cemented the view that Salford could play a similar style with their current squad instead of our constant 5 drives and a kick stuff.
Maybe Ian & Co should pop down the road and see if LIngard is interested in helping the kind of Rugby we all want to see.
