Another road in and out will surely improve traffic to and from the stadium. I'd also envisage some food outlets that would appeal to some supporters on match days. Further to this with new buildings surrounding the stadium it's not going to look like it's in the middle of nowhere like it does at present. Also if new retail businesses are moving on to the site it could potentially lead to some sponsorship opportunities for the club. Manny I agree with your comments but we shouldn't get too positive on here. I think most opinions on here are still quite balanced except the odd few! If you want to see negativity, get yourself onto the Red Shark fan page on Facebook, now that is doom and gloom! |

A note for anyone driving or getting the bus to tonight's games. The new road is now partially open but only 1 lane each way so will be total chaos later (doesn't look like there's much they can do to stop it), you approach from Peel Green as per but now every vehicle has to turn left towards the stadium and then either go straight ahead to the little bridge or turn right after the Barley Farm towards Irlam. Get walking people  |
