Yes. Great player. Saw him play many times. Had a great wing partnership with Maurice Richards. And, of course, a great centre partnership with David Watkins. RIP.

I sat with him at a Lance Todd dinner with my friends son, who is too young to have seen Chris play. We were both in awe of him, he was such a lovely person, who was happy to tell us many stories of his playing era. Of course we all know that he did score at Wembley, but he was too gracious to criticise Dennis Brown the referee for not being up with play. A great player,and servant to our club. Just remembered his nickname, The Wriggler. A sad day in the history of Salford RLFC

Saw him earlier in the season - Lovely man and it seems quite sudden as he fine in April. RIP Chris - Great lad and Great Player.
