Biggest game so far for us this season. They lost today against Saints 30-20 but it sounded like a much improved performance. Andy Lynch had a bad injury towards the end of the game and might be out of their side next week, that would be a big boost for our chances of making the quarter-finals.
It would be great to see a big number of Salford supporters making the trip over to Castleford next week, £15/20 for an adults ticket including coach travel is fantastic value!
As for predictions, I can us just edging it 32-28, Carney double but also spending some time in the sin-bin. Lui MOM.

Is the game on TV? playing golf in Belgium, don't fancy my chances of getting Royal Antwerp to put it on if it is.

Looks like we will be without Logan Tomkins on Saturday, he's been charged with a grade C dangerous contact for his 'cannonball tackle' on Albert Kelly. Even with EGP available, he looks set to miss 2-3 weeks. If Tommy Lee doesn't recover from his knock in time for the game we could see Matty Wilkinson making his debut.

Still say at a push Flanagan would do a decent job as a stop gap during a game, tackles like a demon and isn't a slouch. Would love to see Wilkinson get his chance if Lee doesn't make it, we don't know how good he'll be until we blood him.

Really poor from tomkins, no need for it. Tackle was done, the player wasn't moving anywhere, put us in right pickle for next weekend. Very frustrating

I'd be amazed if Griffin is fit for the trip to Cas and I can't see Lee playing a full 80 minutes for a few weeks yet. I also noticed Lui was heavily strapped, and Murdoch-Masila was blowing smoke from his backside after 30 minutes.
I still think we could edge out Cas at the weekend though.

Matty Wilkinson needs to make his debut. He was our stand out performer for the U19's last season. Very energetic from the play of the ball and gave the team plenty of go forward. Obviously due to his size there are concerns over his defensive abilities, but he wont learn until he's played a few first team games.
I have absolutely no concerns over his inclusion at all.

Logan Tomkins is banned for one match, can't believe that's our first ban of the season, we've come along way with our discipline.

So what would your 17 be from that squad, hard to tell what Watto has in mind with no first team 9 available and with the inclusion of Joseph and Wilkinson.

I reckon Jones to the centre, Vidot Wing, Evalds to drop back to the bench, Lannon to move into the pack to replace Jones. Wilkinson will probably get some game time to.

Is Jones fit? he looked a bit crocked to me on Saturday, if he does play that 3/4 line has to be the biggest in SL history.
