Given that we are coming up against the best left side attack in the league maybe we should look at new options on our right flank. Welham and Johnson have we'll but neither, hand on heart are 1st choice for their positions. The abuse these two get, especially Welham merits them being taken out of the spotlight. I would like to see O'Brien played at right centre, with Bibby outside him.

As an addition to this moving O'Brien to centre would allow Evalds to play his natural game, as well as possibly giving us some stability in the right flank. In the longer term I have been scanning over other SL teams possible available centres for next season. My 1st choice would have been Gigot, as he has played that position effectively before but given his ban this rules that out. Another ideal would have been Keinhorst from Leeds but think that may be a tough sell to get him to move. Much will depend on young Olphaerts and Bibby stepping up over the off season.

If sau is back surely they've got to try sau/johnson with bibby/manu. Welham has missed the most tackles in the league. Maybe he needs a rest im not sure but its costing us. Teams are killing us everytime

Kris Welham was a good, late, signing. From Day One we'd been warned by his previous clubs fans that he could score tries for fun but his defence was woeful. He isn't going to change anytime soon Sadly he needs to be replaced. I'd continue to support Johnson if he had a stronger defensive partner

Got to say Bibby had a great game at centre yesterday so definitley keeps his place with Manu .

I didn't go or listen to it last night (part timer I know) but kept an eye on the scores. Thought we were doing alright to go in 14-14 at half time - what went wrong in the second half? I'm not too disappointed, as long as we get back to winning ways next week - it's the home games we really need to win. I'm confident we can beat Cas too going off Thursday's performance.

Interesting to note, that according to Sheens, Halifax winger scored 4 tries against the J Carney wing yesterday.

Interesting to note, that according to Sheens, Halifax winger scored 4 tries against the J Carney wing yesterday. Despite Carney having 4 slotted against him yesterday it was pure folly to let him go (can only have been a money saving exercise) as he gave so much going forward and put in some big hits in defence. Sa'u has to be in the starting 13 and as has been suggested elsewhere maybe a move to the back row would suit his style more now, we need pace above all we need pace so for me eventually Johnson will convert to centre but we still need to recruit at least 2 backs, a speedster winger and a centre with speed and guile not just a battering ram.
