Today is the culmination of a season's hard work and as much as it's a chance for us to reach our first CC Final in 48 years it should also be our opportunity as fans to thank the players for some amazing performances and memories. Tension will be high, the beer will be flowing and as we all know we have certain fans who struggle to cope with the combination of the 2! This is our chance to show the world what an amazing bunch of fans we are, small in numbers, big in passion and voice. Let's not ruin our day in the sun eh and make tomorrow's headlines for all the wrong reasons? Enjoy the game fellow Devils and let's give those Pies a smashing!  (On the pitch of course!) |

Yes pints were thrown and we do have bellends who will do this.
It does not distract from the fact that our support on the whole was superb.

Joe Burgess was obviously goading us after each second half try but after the last try he got nailed with a half full pint pot from our end. I'd expect us to get panned by the RFL. Tbh.....would much rather the individual gets done for this as the club doesn't deserve the flak for an individual's reaction. |

He imo deserved one round the back of the head tbh no need for that goading. Noticed after that the BBC guys were interviewing the Wigan players right in front of us as if they were wanting some more stuff thrown? Fortunately nothing happened and they had to curtail the interviewing because of the massive noise being made by us saluting our heroes. How the Burgess try was not given given the ref had intimated a try on the field is anybody's guess. |

Stupid and unacceptable behaviour from our supporters at the end throwing the pints (good shot though) and lighters. Burgess, Williams and Gildart need a good dressing down from Wigan/rfl for their behaviour also.
Also just been shown what that girl wrote on twitter aimed at the Wigan fans and players, involving death and aids. Embarrassing and I'm glad Marwan made an example of her and said she will be banned.

Is it not an offence for players to goad spectators. The Wigan players who did should be cited.

Just watched the highlights back and Burgess cleared gestures to the Salford fans after their last try. He should be cited/fined/banned but I bet nothing get done.
As for the girl on twitter, she wouldn't post something like that. Definitely been hacked.
On to the super 8's we go.

Re the hacking that's a difficult one to prove and an easy one to put out there in defence when the public response backfires. Someone from Hull KR has stated the said twitter account also made some unsavoury comments towards Neil Hudgeon.....no smoke with out fire? |

Her account has gone from twitter.
Surprised by the nastiness to be honest. She has had a habit of goading other fans on Twitter and seems quite emotionally involved at times. Whether she's done it or not isn't up to me to prove one way or another. However, it isn't acceptable behaviour regardless. Account hacking is pretty rare and usually noticeable, and tends to be used by people who've been caught out saying something they shouldn't.
