I just hope we put on a good show for all the new fans / neutrals watching, after the last 3 games everyone needs to turn up and play like they did at the start of the season. I've even got a extended family and mates from work who have said they'll try and watch it so I hope it isn't a let down.
At the start of the year, we'd all have accepted a semi-final appearance, we wanted a good cup run, if it ends on Sunday it's been a good cup run. The way the team pulled together and turned it round against Toronto (with 12 men) Hull KR after going behind and Wakefield after them beating us twice in the league I think the team fancy this one. But no matter what, lets all go, and sing from start to finish because they deserve it getting us this far.
I see the Salford Reds are rising.

Can't for the life of me,thinking Manu playing as an extra forward like Justin Carney did.At 31 I dont think he as come all this way to be a battering ram I don't expect that from him. I've been a NZ Warriors fan for years. Vatuvei has literally made a career out of being a battering ram. Famous for his uncompromising full-tilt returns, which helped create his legend in NZ. It's one of the reasons that injury has plagued him over the last few years. He has basically made a career on running as fast as he can into brick walls. Your comment is pretty much as far away from the reality as you can get. What are you actually expecting? The man as not been playing because of injuries he was talking of retirement,I think he will be changing is style of play a bit.Or he could be spending most of his time with us in the casualty. We will see.

He wasn't brought over to display his ballet skills... 'Hey, Manu...You know the skills you've shown throughout a magnificent career. Re-defining the role of the blockbuster winger. Honing strength, speed, balance and physicality that has literally defined modern wing play? 'Yes, mate.' 'Well when you come to Salford we want you to do none of that.' ?

He might not be able to that any more.He will not be the first sportsman to redefine him self at the back end of their career.I still can't see him running the ball out into their frwards from our goal line.Like I say all will be revealed.

Two things to say about wingers:
Point 1 - In SL the reduction in the number of interchanges has meant that wingers have to help the forwards and carry the ball up more - it's just common sense really.
Point 2 - I'd be cr*ppin m'pants if I had Manu running at me on Sunday.

I'm not stereo typing Manu but I don't see him as the type of player to redefine himself, he strikes me as knowing only one way to do things and that's full tilt.
I think he'll just go for it hell for leather until his body waves the while flag.
