Spot on kilop. Ian was very quick to answer our questions and has the best intentions of the club at heart. He knows the importance of engagement with the fans. I was reluctant to push for rebrand/relocation responses so that the forum can keep a good rapport with him in the future.

The rebrand/relocation is kind of pointless at the moment as it's been discussed to death until something actually happens, or not, as the case may be. Plus, even if there was anything relevant or new to ask, is a CEO going to spill the beans on an internet forum? It was the right call at the moment.

Communication seems to be a constant bugbear and a reoccurring topic on the website. Are there plans to improve this? If you can give me specific examples here I may be able to answer better?
Really Ian? The owner makes (or has done) many statements that are or will be happening and when the fans ask for updates they get blocked or if directed at the club there is stony silence.
The water park. Ownership of the stadium. NRL team link up (claimed twice). Fans asking about upgrades on Twitter and the only reply coming from other fans. Fans asking about corporate options only to be ignored. People asking about game day ticket sales on Twitter with no reply. People again on Twitter asking for general information and getting no reply.
A recurring theme is the lack of reply on Twitter so maybe a better system of updates/replies, one thing that does annoy people is that the club seem really eager to reply to people who just post saying thanks for this & that but then not replying to specific people asking specific questions.
I think we all appreciate the clubs efforts but if the club want to focus as they seem to do on electronic media for it's promotion then the online presence needs to be managed much more professionally.

the thing that gripes me is you can't ask a question that is about anything really important because you just get blocked!!!

I had the audacity to ask the Doc if anyone had approached First bus about putting a double decker for fans on to Eccles after the game (Eccles for Tram, Train, Morrisons car park just seems so much better than nothing) and got blocked, the man is a bit of a tempestuous fool at times.

BM there seems to be a continual no of questions arising for the Club. I wonder if I B would do a small Q&A each month.
A couple or 3 or even 4
Is the Club going to complain to Wigan about Burgess et al inciting the crowd and effectively causing the bottle throwing Is the Club going to raise the issue of a 1 match suspension to Powell, cf. 7 for Chase and 10 for Hock when Betts thought a sending off When is the club going to get an e mail list that we can all contribute to for communication (if and when communication ever happens) Why doesn't the Club keep the supporters updated other than by Twitter ( e.g. Use of season tickets for Super 8's)

JJR I will ask Ian if he's happy to do a monthly Q&A with us. I know he looks at the forum so if I can make it a formal, regular thing I will try and arrange that. Edit - I've asked IB if he's happy to do this as a regular thing.
