Seems odd that we would release a home grown player with Walnes ability, don't you get dispensation on the cap when you have academy players in the first team squad?
Can see it being Huddersfield will have offered him more cash with the promise of regular game time.

Contract length can be key for players in these instances rather than other factors such as money. Players tend to want security over anything else. Longer contracts will be favourable to players over short term offers. I'd imagine if he's chosen between two offers it would be based on contract length more than anything. |

Pretty gutted about this because he was having his best season in a Red shirt by a long way and will only get better over the next 5 season.

Well if thats the case and he is going to the Fart Owners, if I were Watson, I wouldn't consider him for the semi or any other games. There's no point in him being around now. I wouldn't have him near the team.
We want 100% dedication and concentration on the next game up.
I wouldn't care if he was a 'nice lad' or not - off you go Adam - we wish you well - your bike's over there.
