I don't know how many use google chrome as their web browser, but for those that do there's an invaluable little free plug-in that you really need. Adblock. It does exactly what you expect and blocks adverts and pop-up adverts on all manner of sites. I was having trouble with the sheer amount of ads on sites such as RLFans (I think it averages 50+ advert blocks from that site alone!) It blocks about 5 adverts from this site to. I would recommend anyone using chrome to get it installed. Invaluable. Adblock |

Second that. It's also very useful if you're watching sports TV on a dodgy web feed! Another good plug-in is Grammarly which instantly detects and corrects issues with spelling, punctuation and grammar. |

Hi Im not that computer savvy and don't use chrome, most of my surfing the inter web is done via my iPhone using safari and I've just started having the advertisement redirect problem when using this forum, anyone any ideas?

No idea when it comes to phones, mate. Maybe someone else more savvy could help. Apparently though, you can get the plug in for Safari as well. Not sure how you get it though. Try their website... getadblock.com/I don't know if this is the same people who do the one I use, as the one I use is free. Not sure if that one is. *EDIT* Just looked and it is the same people. |

I've reduced the number of possible adverts/links on this forum. Hopefully this will eliminate the problem as well as using ad-block.
