'Tis true unfortunately. I'm friends in work with one of his close mates. She just blurted it out to me, so I said yeah I was gutted (didn't want to sound surprised)
He'll be going to The Open tomorrow and getting bladdered. Swings and roundabouts, eh?

Huge, huge blow. I hope McCarthy's defence is as good but tbh without Flanagan then I can't see much down for us, f*cking gutted!  |

I was only recently thinking that we'd got off fairly lightly with injuries this season. Suddenly, it all seems very different. Does anyone have a list of our injured players and an estimate of when they could be back? Without Mossop and now Flanagan, we look a bit thin on the ground.

Someone asked Ian Blease via twitter about injuries etc, his response was that Watto doesn't want any info going out about injuries.

That's terrible news. Easily one of the most important players in the squad. Not easy to replace, let's hope McCarthy steps up.

Our recent league losses appear to have coincided with Flanagan missing except in the Huddersfield game when he played.
