Obviously a tough one this. Evalds should be in the team,as he knows where the line is and is a consistent scorer. He's out of his depth at centre and, until recently,I thought he could play wing. So,it's full back. O'Brien has a better football brain and much of our success has been with his intervention into the line which now appears to have been sussed and GOB has had the stuffing kicked out of him. His form has definitely suffered. The casualty here will be Todd Carney. We won't carry on paying him as an unused squad member. Lui's form since Carney was breathing down his neck has been stellar, and I don't think that was a coincidence. I'm slightly off topic but I believe that there will be enough game time split between Lui,Dobbo,Evalds and GOB as we go forward. On current form it has to be Evalds at full back

Comparing them is unfair as they are chalk and cheese players, Evalds is a brilliant young traditional FB who has that most marvellous commodity in that he knows where the try line is, I'm convinced if he were to be playing for a Leeds, Saints or Wigan people throughout the sport would rave about him.
GOB rightly has a place in Salford rugby folklore and is a more than capable full back, his defence is not a patch on Evalds while as everyone his creative dimension has been sublime at times.
I personally think Dobson will call it a day at the end of the season and if Carney is not retained Gaz will play 7 and benefit hugely from his stint at the back.

O'Brien not in the same class as Dobson. Dobson is the brains and leader of the team.
