I can hear people moaning already about what I'm going to say but if needed I'd shove him into the backrow. Just Why? We have enough already in the back row position and putting a winger into a forward position he probably has never played before seems odd? You have JJ, S'au and welham who play a position much more akin to a second-row. Let him play his natural position and do what he is best at doing.

If time caught up with him and the full 80 isn't always possible it might be an option. obviously him on the wing is the best choice but we all know hoe Watson likes versatility in his players.

If a winger cannot do 80 minutes then I would really question why he was brought in in the first place?

This has got failure all over it. This doesn't seem like a watto signing and has a whiff of Marwan sticking his nose in again

Some of you lot would not be happy if we signed the best 26 players in the world,
Get a grip folks. 3rd in the league , semi final of the cup. signing top players.
Less than 12 months ago we could of been playing in the championship, or even worse still have no club at ALL.
Just support the team.

So we're not allowed to give our opinion on a signing, not the season as a whole, without getting grief? Oh I'm sorry I thought this was Murica!

Looking forward to our blue nosed supporters boycotting matches due to his superb first name! Really hope this works out on both sides. Let's be honest we've been unlucky with some of our previous imports. Plenty of SL sides have signed quality Antipodeans with dubious injury records and have seen their punt bear fruit. Unfortunately for us, some of our worst imports (ability wise) have stayed fit! Fingers crossed we can get a good 12 months out of him and even if his on-field appearances turn out to be sporadic we get some good value when he does step over the whitewash and he does his bit off the field to promote the club.

This is something I think the club really needs to look at, Todd Carney is a big name player who should have been utilised more, Vidot was a prime example, obviously injured pre season so should have been in the fans bar pre game meeting the kids and what have you.

I've just been online and according to Wiki there are 76 primary schools (if I counted correctly!) and 15 high schools in Salford. The club should be sending players to every one of those schools and getting them in to Assemblies/PE lessons to promote the club as part of their contract. The likes of Junior, Koppy, BMM are big lads and they could almost be WWE wrestlers and kids love wrestlers! I'm not sure what Dr Devil's remit is within the cub (does he have a desk job?) but I know he gets into the schools as he's been into St John's where my nephews go. Get the players out in pairs with Dr D to the schools and give them a couple of hours off training once a month and I'm sure the kids would love it. I went to Hope High up the road from The Willows but I don't ever recall seeing the likes of Gibbo, Tex Evans, Youngy coming into our school in the late 80's-early 90's. I'm sure it wouldn't take much in the way of co-ordination and it would help spread the gospel that is Salford RLFC!

I left Hope High in 86 and we regularly has Salford players come in, the year I was in went unbeaten in 5 years so think they wanted to keep an eye on us. Don't see why Salford schools doesn't have a gala RL day, mini comp all day on the pitches next to the AJ Bell and plenty of players and club staff involved all day.

But the club does have players going round the schools, not only in Salford but elsewhere according to the website and the Salford Reds Foundation have going round for years.
