Who knows this Naiqama could be a useful squad player with the right coaching?

James Hasson. He's not one of them ? Born in Londob?? Doesn't matter, he is still non-fed trained. Meaning he was never registered in any academy set-up in SL at any point. Which makes him non-fed. There's no overseas ruling anymore anyway, just the non-fed trained.

Ok, Also he's a British passport holder, But why Would the RFL want to Make it Straight forward for a Player to come to his Country of birth to play !! Because it's the RFL🤔 What's the chances of The world. Reknowned immigration expert from Castleford posting soon.?

If a player is eligible to play for England, Scotland, Wales or Ireland then they shouldn't count on any quota in my opinion. The RFL shouldn't be able to have it both ways just because it suits the sport to make up the numbers and competitiveness at International level. They're either British/Irish or they're not British/Irish. Simple.
Why do the RFL have to complicate it? It's like admitting that non fed trained players will have a better grounding in Australasia than in the UK. How defeatist is that? No wonder we can never win a test series.

I've watched every game from the NRL over the past five years. I've seen enough of Naiqama to say that he'd be spectacular over here. I think Wests fans are doing what most fans do when players are on the out and reinforce the decision for themselves. I recall Bradford fans saying good riddance to Welham and calling him a turnstile. Cowboys fans saying Lui was poor. Penrith fans saying BMM was lazy and disinterested... Opinions are opinions.

Good to hear. Seem to remember Shudds fans saying they wouldn't miss Koppy either...

Not sure whether we've made a bid, his agent says he's expecting one from us as he's been checked out by the club. But he really wants to stay in the NRL and his wage demand is in excess of £150k

We'd also need to free cap space. Would it mean Carney would be leaving? Hasson?

Is Hasson here next year?

Is Hasson here next year? I don't know to be honest. It's quite difficult to find contract lengths for some reason, unless specified in a club statement.

Unless Hasson and Carney are injured can't think of many clubs who would have 2 imports not playing regular rugby, does seem a shocking waste.
