Terrific win that. Huddersfield have been in great form recently but they were 2nd best today. Thought we would come unstuck with both Tomkins and Brining off with concussion, but Krasniqi did a good job covering until Brining was back.
Superb build-up for Welham's try, looked like a contender for TOTS from the South stand.
2nd in the League with 3 games to go, and a Semi Final cup game to come. Somebody punch me!

Where do we form the queue?😊😂 Thoroughly enjoyed that, even though I thought we started slowly and took our foot off the gas for the last 20 and conceded a couple of sloppy tries. Some great tries, superb individual performances and belting weather.... what's not to like?! I'll tell you what, we're fully deserving of that 2nd spot IMO. We've lost numerous games to a last minute try/disallowed try or to a bit of a meltdown as per Saints. From what I've seen we're 4/6 points better than Hull & Leeds (on performances) and 2nd only to a Cas team that has played some of the best rugby I've seen in 30 years of watching. People complaining about the standard of the league are basically fans of the traditional "big clubs" that can no longer spend 3 or 4 times as much on players as the supposed also rans. This is why the salary cap was brought in and I'm loving every minute of it. Watched the Leeds game on Friday and really wasn't impressed. I'd say that if we can keep Moon, Parcell and Cuthbertson in check we've got more than enough to turn them over. Hopefully a big crowd will turn out as well and the AJ will be rocking.Let's just keep enjoying the ride guys as it won't last forever!👍 |

Was a great try but unfortunately wasn't even try of the day, last hudds try was outstanding.
I thought we were below par for long stretches today, and we're lucky hudds we're very poor. Will have to be better next week.

Will have to be better next week. I think that's far too negative. The game was over when they scored the consolation,so I'd go for our try every time. The highlights will show that ours was better,I think,but we'll see. We will certainly need to be better next week,probably without Flanagan, but I don't think either we or Huddersfield were as poor as you're suggesting |

Very possibly me being negative, we started poorly and possibly took our foot off the gas at the end, it's a strange feeling to be relatively unimpressed with a comfortable win over a fellow top 8 team. I've been spoiled this season!

Dunno Gadger.... thought we were sloppy a couple of times on that last Hudds try by not wrapping up the ball carrying arm despite having numerous men in the tackle. We played for 40 of the 80 IMO and Hudds have been on a decent run of late. We can't be too harsh on the lads. We won by 16 and conceivably could have been 30+ difference.
Overheard a couple of Hudds fans on the way out being very complimentary to us, calling us "a top team". Bloody hell, how times have changed!😁

Well my son is now hooked!! 1st Salford game today and he can't stop singing the songs now. Started off just me an him but because it was his first game his mum ended up coming and his grandad!! What a day and what 40 mins from 20-60!!!
Anyway tickets for next Sunday purchased as well!!
Lots of kids there today which was nice to see. Was there some sort of deal on?
