Since the departure of Alan Hunte.
Do we still have some kind of scouting system IE players at other clubs youngsters and overseas.If so what is hit.

Of your misery - Form a queue everyone  To be serious not sure any longer, there was something someone posted last week about one of the big boys signing a local player (Swinton maybe) and pretty certain not long ago Wigan came in for someone from Eccles. The club rather than scouting if finances are the issue should be fostering a relationship with local teams and saying send your best prospects to us and we'll run the rule over them, if they sign we'll help you out with a new kit, promotional work for them or something. |

I refereed yesterday's game Folly Lane U14 v Ince Rose Bridge. The good news is Folly Lane have some excellent prospects,who beat Rose Bridge 44-0 in a curtailed game due to an injury. At least 5 of the lads have been signed by major Lancashire clubs. The bad news is NOT ONE OF THEM has been signed by Salford Red Devil's......... it breaks my heart. |
