Thanks for that, jimmyh. I'd like to say I enjoyed watching that, but I didn't really. I can't understand how the ref disallowed Hesketh's try, he was as unsighted as the BBC camera was. Let's see if the boys can put it right this year.

Yes, I was stood at that end of the ground and saw that he clearly grounded the ball.
It's interesting to watch the video to see how the game has changed and how dangerous the tackling could be back then and how the refs just really spent the whole 80 mins running around aimlessly and 'rarely saw anything that had happened off the ball.
I much prefer today's game, even with all it's current set of faults, especially when we are winning!
