Do you regret losing legend status at Salford by playing for Swinton While you were at Salford who was the best overseas player and home grown talent you played with? Who was the craziest Salford player off the pitch? Are you still involved in the game now you have retired? What are your thoughts on a possible name change and move away from the city for the club? Would you consider being a match day ambassador for Salford? (maintain that ex players like Stuart should be utilised on match days, some pressing the flesh in the posh bars but as importantly with the fans outside in the cheap seats)

Were Leigh always the dirtiest team, or was it you provoking them?

You have the reputation of a profilic try scorer. Any favourite tries? Who did you most enjoy getting the pass from?
Which coach brought you on most?
What preparation did you get from the clubs for life after playing?

Huge thanks to Stuart for doing this Q&A. An absolute gentleman.
While you were at Salford who was the best overseas player and home grown talent you played with? Andrew Dunnemann, Gav Clinch, Malc Alker and Stefan Ratchford.
Who was the craziest Salford player off the pitch? Malc Alker - set standards on and off the pitch.
Which coach brought you on most? Karl Harrison.
Who's the best winger you've played with? Martin Offiah.
Fastest player you've played with/against? Martin Offiah. Against would be Jason Robinson. Absolutely electric over the first 20 metres.
Favourite away ground and why? Hull FC and Huddersfield. Nice stadiums. At hull good atmosphere and we had some good wins at Huddersfield.
Funniest moment during a match you've played in? Probably when Kris Tassell got knocked out against someone and started stripping off on the pitch ready for bed! Not good to see someone in that way but once Tass was recovered all the lads had about of a laugh about that one including Tass.
You have the reputation of a profilic try scorer. Any favourite tries? Enjoyed all of them to be honest. A hat trick v Warrington on a Good Friday springs to memory first though. Who did you most enjoy getting the pass from? Leroy Rivett 😂😂 (Note: Stuart Intercepted for a try in a Grand Final when we went up!).
Which during your long playing career is the best game you've played in? 2008 World Cup in Australia was an awesome experience. 2013 was class too as we played the worlds best. I have been lucky to play & win in a good few finals with Salford, Leigh & Swinton. All have been very special.
Are you still involved in the game now you have retired? Assistant coach at Swinton Lions.
What preparation did you get from the clubs for life after playing? RFL Cares programme supported some of the finance of my university degree which in turn has supported my transition into teaching.
What are your thoughts on a possible name change and move away from the city for the club? I understand some of the theory/reasoning behind it but I feel Salford is big enough to carry on without the name change. Should try to stay in the city of Salford. More support probably required from the community. The fans they do get are class though.
What do you think of the way Salford play their rugby now? They are playing an exciting and entertaining brand and fully support each other within the team.
How's the body after and years of top grade rugby league? I don't feel too bad considering. Always tried to keep myself reasonably fit and still do. If I had to pick a worst body part it would be my knees. Full squats are out of the question these days. Ever been overawed by facing a particular opponent on the pitch? Not really no. I always just took each game as it came and fully respected every player that played the game. I was more amazed to play with some of my boyhood heroes to be honest but once you get to know everyone, most lads are pretty sound.

Thanks to both bgm and Stuart. I do enjoy reading these Q&As and SL's "Leroy Rivett" answer is a beauty! I didn't post any questions this time as, by the time I got to the thread, all the questions seemed to have been asked already.

John Wilinson would certainly be a most-interesting Q & A participant, providing our questions are not too political?
Maybe we could get to him through his trusteeship at the Salfordian Hotel in Southport?
