Just looked up the squad on the website and there was Hasson! Shouldn't he be sidelined under concussion rules?

For me he should be sidelined on fitness rules.

For me he should be sent to Fax for a couple of weeks to gain some match fitness.
At the moment he's barely running into collisions, dropping to the floor as soon as contact is made (which is fair enough if you're gaining a quick play the ball, but he isn't). He also seems to go off injured regularly.
I'm not doubting he's a decent player, he just looks like he's not played at a decent level for a while. We can't afford to carry any passengers in the very important coming weeks. Murray or Walne instead for me.

For me he should sidelined because he is a bang average rugby league player. He's a mile off the pace but my biggest bug is the fact he looks uninterested. I could be wrong but I think his attitude alone will make him a one season wonder here.

I could be wrong but I think his attitude alone will make him a one season wonder here. He's been a waste of money so far. He stood waiting to be tackled last week. The whole crowd were screaming at him then he took a knee. He tacked himself. It was ridiculous. The only thing I will say is that everyone was annoying with Todd now people are starting to want him in for a lift - so ok give him time. I'm more concerned about Johnson and Jones being missing. When Justin went we looked to them for outside muscle. Now they're out evalds and obrian just aren't big enough to stop them in the D. Fantastic for a breakaway but we're desperate in my opinion for some extra strength and muscle to back those boys up. Gaz gets knocked from pillar to post every week recently don't know how he's still on the pitch most weeks. Got to give it to them they might be small but they won't back down. Just a shame it doesn't come off.

So far, not good.
Agree with the comments on here, he looks unfit and bang average plus uninterested as redrum says.
Thought the days of us signing Aussie plodders from the NRL were gone

I'd rather we have brought Jewitt back from Australia for the rest of the season with the aim of signing him for next year if he fitted in, he doesn't look like he attacks the line enough.

Fitness has certainly looked a major factor and with more game time under his belt will come again, but the attitude (if it is an attitude issue) is seriously worrying and surely Watto will suss it soon enough.

Looks slow and sluggish. Whether he'll 'come good' at a later date isn't an issue for me, we need freshening up and he looks more jaded than the rest of the squad.

He just doesn't look sharp enough yet for me. As we all know, sometimes it can take a good half a season to a season for a player to adapt over here.

I think he wasn't playing regularly and then has 5 games in 21 days as a starting prop. I feel sluggish thinking about it. Time will tell.
Just makes you realise how good Tasi is!

Tasi has been consistently good this season. Just shows you what having decent lads around you and a settled social life does. I'll reserve judgement on Hasson just yet. He's jetted over to the other side of the world after not playing a lot and been thrust into a physical role over a lot of games in quick succession. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt at this stage. Of course, if he scores the winning try in a challenge cup final, we'll all say we saw the potential.

Not going to read too much into it but personally think I'd rather spent his money on a winger. He's played at prop but for me looked better when running out wide at SR tbh.

How can any player who's not played first grade for 2 years be expected to perform well immediately in any Superleague team?. I think he only got a shot so soon because of the injuries we had. I'll reserve judgement on labelling him joe average until he's had more time at the club. The big question for me is when are the club going to reutilise the huge Justin Carney contract saving? Or has this money now been allocated to extortionate rebranding consultancy fees? If the club don't replace Carney this season could they legally be in breach of unfair sales practices in relation to season tickets and corporate hospitality sales? On a much more series subject I wonder if the club have checked with the council the fire specification of the cladding on the exterior of the main west stand? With 4500 seats and corporate facilities for 1000+ people it could be another disaster waiting to happen. Especially with that huge fans marquee so close to it.

Or because we only expected to scrape into the top 8 and be knocked out in the 2nd round of the cup, could the club ask us for 50% extra on our season tickets?
Be an interesting duel in court.
