It actually annoys me looking at this fixture - Not one Scottish venue when Scotland are playing in the championship (perfect chance to expand the game gone begging there) and also lets show the Southern Hemisphere that we are prepared to host major international test matches at The KC Lightstream and The Zebra Claims Stadium!

Typical RLF, miss a chance to promote the game outside of the narrow heartland, pretty sure you could find a venue near Glasgow of Edinburgh the same sort of size to Barton, pack it full of local schools, generate an atmosphere and maybe just maybe get a few new fans.

Edinburgh - Easter Road, Tynecastle and Murrayfiled Glasgow - Celtic Park, Ibrox and Hampden Park All good grounds within the heart of Scotland's 2 biggest cities! Due to the large capacities of some I'd say Tynecastle would of been the perfect venue holds around 17,000. I can't see how the game can be sold to Scottish fans by saying come down to Hull or Cumbria and watch your team play against Australia and New Zealand in 2nd rate stadiums!

Just actually spotted that the Australia game is in London, just crazy that the RFL wouldn't put the final on at the best stadium I've watched RL at in the UK, every single person I've spoken to who went against NZ last year loved the experience and personally I'll be getting a group of friends heading down to the smoke for the day but it's doubtful I'll be making the trip to a football ground in the middle of a council estate in Liverpool.
