With Flash singing a new deal yesterday and the rumour of more to be announced this week it seems recruitment for next season is pretty much done and dusted which can only be a good thing.
What I can't figure out is with the club pushing the boat out and singing people to longer better deals it seems pretty obvious they see the club continuing in SL in the long term, if they do try and change the name will all contracts be null and void and need to be resigned if there is a different employers name in the paperwork?
Assuming the Doc still loves us all deeply next season wonder if he might look at a Marquee signing to bolster what is already a very tight unit.

Do you think it's possible that Ben Murdoch-Masila might end up being one of our marquee signings given the superb season he's had? It could be the case that SL clubs start to tie-down their biggest assets as marquee signings to prevent them being poached by a rival team.

Isn't he already signed on longer term though?
I have doubts over Mossop being a regular started so for me I'd be looking at a rough house NRL front rower who can lighten the load on Koppy. And as so many keep saying if we could get MCB back think his year away will have had the same effect as it has on Tasi, without doubt the fastest player in SL.

I think we've missed Justin Carney since he's been gone. The go forward and the fact that it needs three or four to bring him down meant that we had a constant platform for every set. I'd like us to bring in a winger who provides similar and if not, a winger with serious pace. Possibly another hole-punching back rower wouldn't go amiss either.

After his chase back on Sunday I'd play BMM on the wing It might be a decent plan though to try and get him on the ball early in the set in our own half as he hits the ball up harder than anyone else in the team and can skittle defenders for fun, have Evalds or Johnson on his shoulder when he does it and potentially it could be a lethal tactic.

Last season Ben's dad was down and he said that Ben was a 100m champion when he was younger but complained that Salford needed to use him on little bursts near the line, presumably like they did with the Tasi try. Imagine 3 bursts of Ben, Koppy and Tasi near the posts played off Carney and Brining.

If BMM ran at full pelt at anyone there would be an involuntary release of poo BBM, Tasi followed by Junior/JJ is going to sap any defences energy and all love the chance to skittle defenders.
