I, along with many other Salford fans would have considered avoiding the middle 8s as a success this year. While we all still half expect the bubble to burst I will not (openingly ) talk about top 4.
Most forums had us and Trinity nailed on for bottom 4 and the teams they expected to beat , but both are pretty much safe in the top 8 so who do you now expect to be in the middle 8s?
For me it is Leigh, Widnes. Huddersfield and any one of Catalan. Warrington. St Helens,

Leigh and Widnes for sure. Hudds and probably Wire for me. Saints have a new coach and a new sense of purpose, Catalan will scrape through.

For me it is Leigh, Widnes. Huddersfield and any one of Catalan. Warrington. St Helens, How things change in a season! I agree. Salford have shocked everyone this year from RL fans to the bookies to the journalists and the so-called Sky pundit experts. It makes you think if those low placed predictions are a real motivating factor for everyone at the club. Interestingly despite us being 2nd and Warrington being 8th before yesterdays game the bookies still gave us a 6 point start on the coupon. It was a similar story when we played Wigan away the other week when they were decimated with injuries. It's obvious the bookies don't rate us and they just think it's a purple patch that could end at any point. It is bizarre, if someone had said at the start of the year that Salford would go to Warrington and win by 12-38 with us resting several players, I'd have thought they were sniffing glue. Bottom 4 for me would be Leigh, Widnes, Huddersfield and Catalan. Million Pound Game - Hull KR v Leigh
