I'll admit I half stole this after seeing some Youtube footage.
Think playing Oasis don't look back in anger and inviting everyone to join in would be brilliant, if you look at the lyrics pretty much appropriate for what has happened.
Have sent a Tweet to the club and Blease so we'll see.

It was after the minute's silence in the City Centre and the woman with the bunch of flowers started it up. I've just seen it myself. Very uplifting and you're right, lyrics very on the mark. Plus I know them very well so could belt it out too.

I'd love to see Longfella invited to recite 'this is the place' as that was one of the most moving things I've ever seen in my life.

I'd love to see Longfella invited to recite 'this is the place' as that was one of the most moving things I've ever seen in my life. I only saw the end of it at home on Tuesday, then heard the first bit of it while driving to drop the kids off the morning after. First thing I did was get it on youtube in work, then promptly had to hide behind my monitors because of my streaming and red eyes.! Utterly in bits I was!!!!

You aren't the only ones. So very very sad. Hope it's a fitting tribute on Friday, I actually have no doubt it will be. Club have reacted very well to this.

It's a huge pity that every other SL team is playing at the same time or we would have got a few fans from other teams attending.
Might be worth the club posting details of this on the City & United forums/Twitter/FB pages.

This flag has been produced for the game tomorrow. Great effort that. Will the club put it on the pitch in front of the teams as they line up for the minutes silence? Why don't the drinkers amongst us (that defo includes me!) throw in the cost of one of their "match beers" into the collection? I normally have a couple first half and then get another at half time so I'll be foregoing one of the first half bevvies and chucking the extra cash into the fund.

Does anyone know whether the North and East stands are going to be open tonight? Apparently the South and West Stands are almost at full capacity already (!).

You'd hope the stadium management company open them and don't charge the club, bit on the warm side to crowd everyone in and I'm having beans for dinner so might be best to avoid me
