Fantastic gesture by MK and the club.🙌 I hope the people of Salford & Greater Manchester get behind this and we pack the ground out. I also think it'd be great if our fans could put aside their rivalries and wear their United & City shirts to the game as a mark of respect and solidarity. What about bringing Oasis, Stone Roses, Happy Mondays, James flags & memorabilia etc and hanging them up in the ground somewhere? If the East stand is empty will the club allow us to cover the seats in some of this stuff? Maybe I'm talking crap, I dunno, but just thinking of ways we can show our support. Great idea SalfordSlim. If you don't mind I'm going to share this on the Deviltalk Twitter feed. Absolutely.👍 Anything we can do to help then I'm all for it. It's been a horrible few days but let's do our bit.

Where's MR ? Has he spat his dummy out again ? Or was he at the Fans Consultation with his best pal 'The Doc'? Maybe he's at home eating humble pie (*EDIT* Come on Jim, keep it civil - Carnster.) I'm working, doing the same job where I helped people on Monday night Tuesday morning in Manchester, will you be doing anything other than make a donation Jim? I maintain a club statement released to the the national press would have been much better, obviously this is a wonderful gesture and I hope many people attend and make it a celebration of the lives of the people who so tragically died.

He has done that as well just read an article on ssn, I think personally we need to put any misgivings aside on this and say it's a great thing to do
On the article on sky sports news he says they are sending out buses across manc and Salford with digital signage to promote the game. That's another great idea. Fair play
Usually I'd be saying we need to be capturing people's contact details for further marketing (as they were with the 10er deal) but I think we just need to let do this as what it is, a lovely gesture and show of solidarity.

So many things crossed we make a good show of Friday, so many times we have generated extra interest like this only for the team to fluff its lines, somehow don't think the current squad will do.
Would be nice if the club could specifically offer tickets to the emergency services, I know it's free anyway but a special off to the people on the front line Monday would be an additional wonderful gesture.

It's good to see that the club are using digital signage to advertise this offer too on Cadishead Way.
There's also a bus driving around Salford and Manchester which has a large advertisement on the side of it.
