The club have put on twitter the announcement is about friday. Think it will be a donation to the victims. Yeah, I think it will be something along those lines.

Think it will be a non announcement. If it involves Friday why not just announce it now. Think it's about MK in front of a mike

Think it's about MK in front of a mike Sadly if this is it it is a wonderful gesture but there is a whiff of some cheap publicity about it. A club statement released to the national press would hold much more gravitas rather than a Twitter proclamation.

Fantastic gesture by MK and the Club:
Tickets for the game on Friday are free. You just need to make a donation towards the charity fund supporting those who are victims of the attack at the Arena on Monday.

Fantastic gesture by MK and the club.🙌 I hope the people of Salford & Greater Manchester get behind this and we pack the ground out.
I also think it'd be great if our fans could put aside their rivalries and wear their United & City shirts to the game as a mark of respect and solidarity. What about bringing Oasis, Stone Roses, Happy Mondays, James flags & memorabilia etc and hanging them up in the ground somewhere? If the East stand is empty will the club allow us to cover the seats in some of this stuff?
Maybe I'm talking crap, I dunno, but just thinking of ways we can show our support.

All the negative stuff on this thread at the start! What a fantastic gesture by the club. The ground should be full. Everyone should make an effort and get there and make a donation.

If you don't mind I'm going to share this on the Deviltalk Twitter feed.

Very good. I rescind my earlier negative post. As a season ticket holder do I just make a donation at the turnstile ?

Where's MR ? Has he spat his dummy out again ? Or was he at the Fans Consultation with his best pal 'The Doc'? Maybe he's at home eating humble pie (*EDIT* Come on Jim, keep it civil - Carnster.)

Behaive mate this is a fantastic gesture and will raise an awful lot of money to support the victims of the attack and their families.
