With all that has happened in Manchester last night I would hope that all opposed to the name change avoid all demonstrations on Friday, to be anti Manchester would seem to be churlish in the face of what has happened.

Yeah, wouldn't be the right thing to do.

Totally agreed. Keep it about Salford and nothing derogatory towards Mcr.

Agree 100%. We need a public show of support from our fans to those affected by such a senseless, barbaric attack. A minutes silence before kick off and round of applause in the 23rd minute (to commemorate each victim) would be a start.
Absolutely disgusted and numb by what's happened. I honestly can't comprehend what would go through someone's mind to commit such an atrocity. Words fail me.

Was thinking the same earlier, puts things in to perspective. My wife was there, fortunately she was outside when it happened but some of the things she was told were horrific and heartbreaking. Poor poor kids and parents.

Anyone able to organise a handout of sheets showing our support, similar to the protest ones at the KR game? I'd happily contribute to print costs if anyone has the ways/means to do it and I'm not working atm so would assist with the circulation pre-match.
