On his way to Hull KR apparently. Yes and before the playoffs according to the Daily Mirror. Also says it's to free up space on the cap to sign Hasson from Parramatta. Been informed,source not the best, that it may not be Hasson, but one of our former juniors, who is playing in Aussie now.But it could be both |

Turner would be an interesting one because he hasn't played for the Raiders since he joined them. Does anyone know if he's injured or just not been selected?

Turner would be a decent shout for us at some point. With him being developed by Salford he has massive discount on his cap space.

It's official according to Sky Sports news. There has to be something in this Turner rumour if we've allowed Carney to leave. Two for the price of one against the cap perhaps?

Signed for KR until end of 2018 season.
I didn't read it that Carney was being released so we can get Hasson just that Carney leaving frees up room to get Hasson
I thought we were well under the cap anyway?

Not massively convinced by Turner i have to say. Always happy to bring a home grown back but considering he left in a sulk cos he didn't want to play centre and then played centre quite happily every where else, it left a bit of a sour taste
Also i thought he looked pretty average at Saints. All that said he could do a good job for us like Welham in the structures we play and he's pretty strong in defence. And offers some cover in the back and, in a n emergency, the halves. Could be a replacement for Flash i guess?

Well we managed to snare one of the top Auss players of the past decade but sadly he never quite did it for us.
He did provide cover though so that when one of the half backs got injured he was able to step in so that unlike in the past we didn't have to play without a recognised half back (remember v Leigh a few years ago when Dobson got injured and was out for most of the season).
Still good to see glimpses v St Helens at home, and v Warrington away. Hope you win your court case mate.ADMIN might be worth a Q& A with him before he goes
