If the League Express reports are true and we do get rid of Carney who would we like to see replace him. Sensible options for me are Steve Michaels or Caton-Brown as both are off contract this year.

Tex Evans.
Seriously though IF Justin does go then I think Bibby will step up and Evalds is still pushing for a first team spot. Admittedly he sees himself as a full back but he can do a job on the wing too.

Why would we let Carney go?? He is a class act and won't be easy to replace. Massive over reaction to what happened on the field allow him to serve his ban and come back and boost our squad. Hopefully its rubbish about him leaving.

Carney may not be real speedster or a prolific try scoring machine but I think his powerful drives really gives the team some go forward. It must be a dream for our forwards seeing the metres he makes and I can only imagine that it takes some real energy out of the opposition trying to bring him to a halt. I think some may not fully appreciate the contribution he makes when he's on the field.

Marwan as his employer does not want to pay him sat on the sidelines, how many games has he missed through suspension ? Think the same was said about Hock

Think the same was said about Hock True but I think Carney has been much better value than Hock, who did so much more for Widnes on loan than he ever did for us. I thinks it's fair to say that Carney has left himself, the team and the supporters down. Let's hope he's dwelling on his error(s) and eager to make amends.

I disagree, because the club and Marwan can fine Carney for his suspension, plus suspensions are part of the sport, did utd sack Cantona when he was banned for a much longer period same with Rio?? No, why because they were class players and would of been hard to replace same with Carney, he improves us when he plays.

On his way to Hull KR apparently. Yes and before the playoffs according to the Daily Mirror. Also says it's to free up space on the cap to sign Hasson from Parramatta.

If that's the case you would have to fancy Hull KR's chances in the Middle 8's. It's a shame if it's true as he's a great player when he's on the pitch!

So we release a experienced, dynamic back to bring in an unproven forward?
Doesn't seem like the best business, unless there is something else happened in the background following the racism charges.

This would be a really strange one for me considering Hasson hasn't played first grade for 2 years. Let's hope it's just paper talk.

I wonder if some of the other players have expressed concern about playing with someone who uses that sort of language? If so, the only option is to unload him.

I've heard that it may just be a loan move, but I can't verify that.
