As a Salford fan of 40 years, I can't believe I just asked that. Hope I'm not tempting fate.

How have you been coping with the banter about 'that' celebration? Was this the most embarassing moment on a rugby field or can you top it?!
I've been coping quite well to be honest, it's just about calming down now! Yes, by far the most embarrassing thing I've done.

With you starting to establish yourself as a regular, what do you put this down to?
Just taking my chance when it comes along and working hard in training.

What do you think the difference is between Salford this year and last?
We are more together as a team. Everyone gets along with each other off the field too which I think works massively on the field.

Are the players surprised by just how well we've gone this season?
No. we believe where a top 4 team so we set big targets at start of the year so where not surprised how well where going.

You look like you have dropped a few K's - is that the case & has it been intentional?
Ha ha yes, I have dropped a few Ks thanks for noticing! I missed last years full pre-season through injury, so I was never really up to standard, so a big focus this year was to get fit and lose weight.

Who is the hardest opponent you've come across?
Jamie peacock by far. I made my debut against him and he just kept coming at me all the time I was on the pitch.

I think personally Connor Williams will be the next one to break through.


Will you be setting out to wind Uncle Gareth up next week?
Ha Ha we have started to wind each other up already! He will be the back row on my side so I'll try get a few sly digs an words in!

What do you need to do in order to improve your own game?
Get a little fitter and understand the game situations. Also, to try to get my Defence better as Watto is massive on defence with me.

Who's the strongest player, pound for pound, at the club?
Lama Tasi and Weller Hauraki there the only ones to beat me on the bench press ha ha not like I'm bragging! 

If you weren't playing Professional Rugby League, what career path would you have chosen?
I don't really know - I've been full time since I was 17 so I've never really thought about what I want to do yet after Rugby.
