Toronto ended up with 10 men v Oxford, 2 sent off and the hooker sin- binned for 'the minor offence of head butting' (quote!). I wonder what the major offences were.

3 Toronto players have been charged by the RFL Match Review panel for punching, and 1 player for head-butting.
One of the Toronto players (Jacob Emmit) refused to leave the pitch following a sin bining for a dangerous tackle. Instead, he decided to have a punch up with one of the Oxford players and was consequently shown a red card. Then he decided to do a lap of honour, high-fiving the fans. The game was done and dusted by that point.
Horrible team!

I really like the idea of Toronto and hope they do well, but they need to concentrate on the Rugby and less on the antics. Need to get rid of Rowley for that to happen. They play like Leigh under him so no surprises.

Canadians like nothing better than a fight at a game. In Ice Hockey there is a player whose sole purpose is to do this. Probably all staged, but it looks like the Canadian fans liked it. Lets face it the Wolfpack could probably beat most teams in that League with 10 men

I do wonder if the powers that be in the League and Perez have had a little chat and said if you really want the venture to get the locals attention some of this 'thuggery' needs to happen.
Remember watching the Red Wings play at home once and there was a guy who could barely skate who as someone else mentioned came on to do nothing more than **** someone and struggle back to the side, when he came on the anticipation levels went through the roof wondering who he was going to do a number on. There is even more of a 'Jocks' culture in Canada than America so the physicality of RL should appeal to the Canadian summer sports fan.
