Who has been our most improved player this season? For me, it's between 5 players (feel free to make your own suggestions!):
Adam Walne
Logan Tomkins
Greg Johnson
Ben Murdoch-Masila
Robert Lui
I think there's a case for all of them to be considered the most improved, but for me personally it has to be Adam Walne.

Got to be Walne for me, Logan gets us around the pitch brilliantly aswell..
I know this is his first season with us but Welham looks miles better than from what i remember him at HKR.

I was worried when we signed Welham because defensively I always thought he was a liability. I'm glad I've been proved wrong. I also think Greg Johnson has benefited massively by having Welham at Centre alongside him. |

Walne, absolutely. I remember telling my dad how bad he was when he came on v wire, since then he's been sensational. No dip in performance between him and kooky. Fair play proved me well wrong

I've not been the Walne's biggest fan, but Adam has improved beyond recognition this season. Glad to be proven wrong.

can't remember a time when we've had so many improved players. Logan Tomkins would be mine, I really didn't rate him and thought he was always too slow at the PTB but this season (and end of last) he has been brilliant. He really took it to them last night and was making big yards every time he got the ball; got us moving quickly and puts in a decent defensive shift. And then we have the luxury of throwing Brining on after 20 mins, how good is that? What a time to be a Salford fan.

ADAM WALNE in capitals. There used to be a time when he knocked on more times than a well drilled Avon rep, but these days he carries the ball so well and makes the metres. From where he was to where now is there is no comparison.

Adam Walne all day. Before the season I thought this might be his last in a red shirt, however he's proven to be a really big player for us this year and will fully deserve his new contract which he's set to sign very shortly I've been told.
Well done Adam it's great to see an academy product performing so well, we've never really had a decent Prop come through the ranks in the last 5-10 years.
