The club has just announced it's to engage in a big research project to find out what the fans want. Edit: I'd have put a link in for this, but the club website has crashed. Second edit: Linky winky.

Classic management consultancy. Decide what you want to do,then offer to consult interested parties, before proceeding with the original plan. To prove or disprove this,we could make a list now of what they'll decide to do. Problem is that if they really do take account of our heritage as they say they will, there'll be no name change . Or they'll pay lip service to the heritage. I really, really hope that I'm totally wrong

Interesting reference to heritage. Leap to say they'll use the fact we were formed in Manchester?

It's very positive news that the Club has decided to go down this route and allow fans to participate in some comprehensive Market Research.
I think it's absolutely vital that all fans now participate in this and make their thoughts known.

Again Mystic Michigan asks about market research and within hours there is news to that end.
Getting the fans feedback can only be a good thing, the potential bad thing would/will be if/when the fans vote against relocation and a name change that it happens anyway.

Well it's better than I feared, hopefully it is really what they say it is and not just a ruse. Need to take it as face value anyway

You'd hope so or there was a huge amount of freebies.
We all know that the crowd figures this season have been utter tosh but even 501 seems low.

I read it as 501 paid on the day, the rest being season tickets and advanced sales

Is Neil Barker working for the Daily Star these days? Utter rag of a paper and wouldn't believe a word of what they print. I still don't believe the crowd was that low against Widnes either.
Has anyone got access to corresponding crowds for the past 4 years that we've pulled in at the AJ Bell against the teams we've played at home this season? Ok, they haven't doubled but I'm sure there must be a decent increase on some of the gate figures. Would also help if Sky didn't shaft us with the live games they allocate us.
