I salute every bodies ambition to try and get more spectators through the gate.
I have tried getting people from my workplace to go, but the only way I could get them to go is that I would have to chauffeur them, buy them a ticket and a pint then return them afterwards, I love watching Salford but I wont be personally responsible for people that want to be freeloaders at the expense of myself and the club.
At the Leigh match there was a few Polish, perhaps bleasey should take some language lessons and bribe them with a crate of lager, boy they can drink.
People are always asking me how are the reds getting on, I tell them with great pride of how well they are playing, but that is as far as there interest goes.

I've seen a lot more new fans emerge on Twitter this season than any other. Would be interesting to ask any new fans how they came to visit the AJ Bell for the first time. It would give the Club an idea of any avenues that the Club could target.

whilst i appalude the fans for getting together and trying to promote the club isnt it the clubs job ?
in my opinion thats where the club constantly lets its self down, they will try some marketing for say a month and then the idea will get dropped, doesnt dr BS have a marketing company !!!

Would have been interested in getting involved in this but just seen that someone I have a huge distrust and dislike for is involved.

On principle no, as I said privately I spoke before the season with Blease saying I'd approached the council asking for permission to have a reasonable sized sign advertising the next home game, gave my details and was told the club would contact me. The silence has been deafening. |
