According to League Express, Marwan and Derek Beaumont will appear on Judge Rinder at 2pm on ITV next Tuesday (25th April). As far as I can make out, Judge Rinder is some TV court thing that makes old people think infinite justice is being administered to miscreants in the way they'd like it to be. Stole a Curly-Wurly? Lose a bollock.
The judge will be presiding over the case of Gareth Hock, and whether he should have been allowed to play against Salford after he moved to Leigh.
Sounds like completely missable TV.

As far as I can see it has been done in a good humoured way and is generating positive publicity

Kevin Sinfield embodies everything that's good about Rugby League, but that's just awful. It's like he's speaking braille, as we used to say. It should have been left on the cutting room floor with a "Thanks Kevin, but we're going to get Siri to do it. She's a bit more natural." The problem is that when something like that is being used as a promotional device, a Doc and Dec Dick About doesn't look quite so bad. |
