Brian Noble and his Toronto Tosspots team are going to be a very difficult side to beat, ok they might not have a full SL standard team but they have more than enough players still worthy of a SL place and ample experience to make this a massive banana skin for us. I'd go so far as to say that I'd not be surprised with a Salford loss.
In the grand scheme of things I think the powers that be at Salford wouldn't mind losing and concentrating on maintaining our current lofty position but the new found optimism amongst fans old and new would take a dent so think they will go for it.
Think Brining, Lannon, Murray, Evalds, Wood and Bibby need to come in and make a statement. Think also Hauraki might be back and get a game under his belt before a run of winnable games in the league.

Totally disagree. Whilst we have to be wary i think we have far too much for Toronto, didn't they get beat by part timers recently? No we have a good enough squad to put these to bed but we have to turn up and play our game and we'll be fine.

Yeah I agree, we should far too much for Toronto and would be shocked if we didn't get a convincing win. Not bring arrogant just a realist.
This is a great draw for us and I expect a strong team with maybe 1 or 2 fringe players given a shot, would expect Murray, and evalds to be given a run out.

While I agree this does have potential banana skin written all over it, I cannot see anything other than a good salford win. Yes they have an able squad and will be wanting to prove a point, but the speed and fitness levels of an SL side compared to that of a league 1 side is far superior. Yes you may argue they are fulltime and should be fit, but there is a big gulf in playing intensity week in week out between the two divisions.
