That is laughable if that it what it was. Saints end was busy as was the South. Hard to tell in the West as I was sat in it. Looked busy where we were though.

People need to start getting off their backside, all I heard back in the pub last night and last week also was about how people are gonna start going again (there was a few last night who don't usually go who I know from around Salford)
To be fair I think Leigh on Good Friday will be a real test of people sticking to their word, I'll be disappointed with anything less than 8,000 to be honest. If not now then it will be never, no excuses.

3640 is utter bullsh1t!!!
Minimum 4.5k and probably nearer to 5k. The Cas attendance was at least a thousand over what was quoted as well.
Sky will have had an impact last night so let's see what turns up for the Leigh game, not televised and on a bank holiday. They should bring 2k to a local derby as they've travelled well this year.

Looked (and sounded) like a lot more than that to me but, as stated, not easy to assess the West stand while sitting in it

I live 200 miles away and can't get to many games and so I paid sky £6.95 for a 24 hour pass to see last night's match. How about Bleasey doing a deal with sky for Salford games where the charge is say £15 for a 24 hour pass and Salford take the money over the standard cost? I'd pay the extra if I knew a donation was going to the Club. (In other words I buy my 24 hour pass through the Club and they take a cut) Or introduce a Salford tv channel, I'd pay a monthly subscription for that if it included all games live and a fresh news about the Club Rather than being giving it to sky to fund the 7/8 pundits that never shut the fook up? I know that any of this doesn't improve the atmosphere at the ground, only live supporters do that, but it is a pragmatic realisation that they are Salford fans out there that can't attend many games fo one reason of another who want to contribute.

How many does the east stand hold? the stadium holds 12,000 and there was nowhere near 8360 seats available last night.

Best game that Iv'e seen for a while, I was in the West stand and the atmosphere was fantastic the best Iv'e experienced since the shed at the Willows

How many does the east stand hold? the stadium holds 12,000 and there was nowhere near 8360 seats available last night. Posted this on a previous thread mate..... West Stand (main stand) including changing rooms, media centre, hospitality boxes, banqueting suite; capacity 4,500 North Stand (Wooden Spoon Stand) – all-standing, usually the away end; capacity 2,500 East Stand (MBNA ) all seating, capacity 2,500 South Stand/The Shed (Wellsprings Stand) – all-standing, home to hardcore Reds fans; identical to the North Stand, capacity 2,500 So take out 2500 for the East Stand which was closed and that leaves max 9500 (capacity is 12000). You telling me the ground was just under 40% full?😕 Utter b0ll0cks. Between the 2 ends you must have close to 3640 before you even take into account the West Stand. I'm tempted to walk round after kick off against Leigh just to count heads as we have this same discussion after pretty much every home game!☺
