Does anyone have a latest list of when the players contracts are up. With the great news of GoB's extension for a further 3 years, would be good to start seeing some of the others tied down, especially Juniour as someone has already pointed out.
Sure Bleaseys working hard on this, as I recall there are a number OoC next season.
Update: just found this, quite a few end of this season, are they all correct?;
Off Contract 2017: Niall Evalds, Mark Flanagan, George Griffin, Greg Johnson, Olsi Krasniqi, Robert Lui, Lee Mossop, Daniel Murray, Junior Sa'u, Lama Tasi, Logan Tomkins, Adam Walne, Jordan Walne

Not listed above but I have it on very good authority that one of our young Hookers who has been in and out of the 1st team (and the bleach cabinet) this season has very recently signed a new 2yr deal and that other deals are on the horizon.
Bleasey may be stockpiling them for a blockbuster press release...?

One of the skill sets that the club acquired with Ian Blease was contract negotiations from the agent and players perspective. You would expect him to be on top of this.

Some will disagree with retaining the Walnes but remember both are competent highly experienced SL players, both home grown and both on lesser salaries, the very type of English born squad player a successful SL team thrives with.

For me unless the club have replacements already lined up I would look at retaining them all, some longer and some shorter term.

I'm not sure the Walnes should be retained.
I think they've had enough time and chances to show and grow into better players, yet both seem to have got stuck at their current level. That level is mediocre.
I'm pretty sure the only reason we still have them is the cap concessions they bring to the side being home grown. I realise we need squad players, every team does. I just think that while they are not the worst players around all they seem to offer is a person in a shirt who gives away penalties. That wouldn't bother me too much if their contributions were better. But they're not.

I personally have never rated the Walnes, but MR's reasoning as squad players on not very high contracts is also valid, they don't count on the cap got to be worth a year extension?

Jordan Walne has gone to Oldham on a months loan, along with Liam Bent.

Liam Bent if developed rigt will be a top player who I'm glad we've got on our books. For such a pretty young age he really does hold himself well against some of the bigger more experienced forwards. Could be looking at a breakout season next year if all well.

If that list is correct I would definitely be trying to retain them all but i'd hope that some additional quality would be coming in next year so it might be that we need to prioritise. For me it would be difficult to make some of the calls as I like and rate them all in different ways but if we have to prioritise then I'd go for:
The most important are Sau, Griffin, Evalds and Flanagan
Tasi, Lui, Mossop, Johnson, Tomkins are the next priorities and I'd seek to keep them all unless we have improvements lined up
Krasniqi, Murray, Walne and Walne are squad players really. I'd keep the Walnes as they are still relatively young so could get better and are solid enough (plus home grown which we need more of). Murray is one for the future if he has gone well this year and Krasniqi has the potential to be a deserved regular. he has the spirit and the attitude and works hard but he is a bit light weight and doesn't make the metres his efforts deserve. But he still looks like he is developing and improving so I'd want to keep him and see how he comes on

And Lannon, is he not developing as quickly as he should? Is he lazy?

And Lannon, is he not developing as quickly as he should? Is he lazy? I think with Lannon all that is needed is a moral boosting run of games, I'd also like to see him used more as a very wide edge runner as he has very good speed for a 2nd row. His problem is we have JJ, BMM, Hauraki, Griffin, Krasniqi & Flash all more established pack players than him.
