I'm fairly indifferent to this whole argument, but it can't be as annoying as what I term 'Chronic RL Cliche fans'. I have always seemed to manage to stand within earshot of people who shout 'Forward!' EVERY time the opposition pass the ball. Previous to this the same people would shout 'Feed in!' EVERY time there was a scrum. I was always unlucky before the smoking ban came in to also stand leeward side to chainsmokers, ensuring that I managed to passively smoke around twenty fags per match.
Oh yeah, and there's the 'Gerrum onside ref!' brigade...
I think the crux of the matter is that you wont find the perfect balance between what people like and dislike. The Club is to be commended on trying, which is all it can do. I think newer fans and younger fans will wonder what all the fuss is about. While traditionalists will scoff at the idea.
