Will they take it out of the £1,000,000 they owe us for winning?
Seriously the RFL/SL/SKY hype this game up till it's a tinderbox, it's not right what the fans did but the powers that be need to except some responsibility try to remedy the stress it causes everyone.

Hull KR have been fined twice as much as Salford. Although he's accepted the fine, Neil Hudgell isn't too happy and has had a bit of a pop at Salford and at Marwan specifically (thought they were mates) over the big cheque thing. Not sure it had that much of an effect on what happened really. I'd also agree that the RFL has stupidly created a tinderbox with "events" like this. It seems more than a little distasteful to big up a single game which could result in some players losing their livelihoods and even - given what seems to happen to relegated clubs - potentially see a club go to the wall. For me, the solution is simple: bin it. It's a dreadful way to decide such an important thing. As a result of what happened at Hull, the suspended part of the fine from the incident at Huddersfield has been activated, so the club has had to fork out a bit more money.

"we as a club have a clear record of good crowd behaviour going back several years." www.warringtonguardian.co.uk/news/9555986.Fifteen_Hull_KR_fans_thrown_out_for_fighting/Now I'm not one to underestimate the stupidity of people nor to start the game of 'you badder than us' but when you paint yourself as perfect, be careful. Idiots attend EVERY game. I note the story features twice in today's MEN. I also fear for MartiN HBR (survivor of many football games in the 70's.)

You'd not expect anything else other than good coverage of bad news from a comic like the MEN, the Doc could cure cancer and they'd spin a negative out of it.

For once I think they've got this right. Salford's fine is minimal with Hull fined more. The TV pictures told the story. Better policing and stewarding for high tension games like this would help prevent trouble in future. Let's face it, it was a joke at Hull

To be fair I know the salford fans shouldn'the have gone on the pitch but when the KR fans went on it wasn'the to give their congradulation, they wanted trouble and they made sure they got it,both the police and stewards should have reacted quicker and the trouble could have been kept to a minimum.
