Can't believe that it hasn't been mentioned on here but there is one hell of a fuss brewing on anti social media that Blease has said the club are introducing a drum to help generate a better atmosphere.
I can see why they are doing it but couldn't be more against the idea, the most miserable day of rugby I ever attended was an England game in Doncaster where we got stuck near a drummer & trombonist and had to suffer the 'motivational' deafening din all through the game.
I'll be very unhappy if they stick it in the South stand on match days and it causes me to move to a different area. The fact that other teams bring a drum to Barton causes much consternation amongst Salford fans so why they think it will increase the atmosphere I don't know, can see some of the Neanderthals getting into trouble trying to stop it.
There's got to be a better solution.

I was hoping this debate wouldn't rear it's ugly head again... there's more passion over #drumgate than most other things going on at the club.
For what it's worth, there's no harm in giving it a try but I can't see it being accepted by the majority.
