He has been given a grade 3 charge for his contact with James Child. How many matches?

Grade C usually carries a 2-3 game ban (I think).
It's an absolute farce that he's been given any sort of ban.
I don't typically subscribe to the notion that the bigger clubs get the favourable decisions and the likes of Salford get harsher penalties, but this sort of ban is an utter embarrassment. The RFL have no shame.

I'm staggered!!!!!! Neither the official nor the player, reacted to the incident. It was a non event. why would we not believe that the likes of Ganson and cohorts have a problem with our club, when things like this occur. Believe me Ganson is a strong personality, and has never got over the days of Andy Greg abusing him when he officiated at The Willows.

Pathetic. So he'll be out for 2 - 3 matches? When would that ban start?

Not great. Seems a bit on the harsh side seeing as the ref walked into him!

Pathetic. So he'll be out for 2 - 3 matches? When would that ban start? Correct - 2-3 matches is the standard penalty for a Grade C. Carney isn't able to enter an EGP either so I would assume that the ban takes effect straight away i.e before the Leeds game on Friday.

Can't he plead not guilty ? Ganson is obviously a prat, although he did defend the ref in relation to the JJ pass, when Nige had condemned it. Shows he's just bloody contrary,as well as a prat

Jamie Peacock received a grade A charge and avoided a ban .friends in high places ? It would appear Marwan's more tactful and benign social Media approach has been in vain .. Where's the consistency??

This is now personal to Salford. They see koukash as a toy they can wind up and laugh at when he loses his head and on this one I cannot blame him one bit. It makes you wonder why he bothers with decisions like this. Absolute b****cks.

I'm not normally into the whole conspiracy theory but there is a whiff of let's bollocks Salford and take one of their weapons away before they take on our 'faves' Leeds about this.
Pretty sure we could get messers Wonder and Charles telling the beak even they could see there was considerably less than bugger all in it.

I wonder if the MRP were watching the Warrington v Brisbane Broncos match? The mass brawl should make for an interesting decision or will it be deemed being part of the game?

What annoys me is after watching the highlights again i noticed Ryan Brierley doing the exact same thing as Carney. When we get the penalty toward the end of the first half watch brierley touch (sort of pushes) the ref because childs walks towards him. Its a nothing incident but if carney getting charged then why aint Brierley youtu.be/ed6jYK4hxos?t=2565

The MRP need to differentiate between deliberate/aggressive contact with the referee (which should be punished) and accidental contact.
