Presumably, then, the same team as last week, but with Logan Tomkins in for Josh Wood. I'd prefer to see Josh Jones in the centre - particularly after our right side defence's 'open door' policy against Wigan - but I suspect he'll stay in the second row.
Still no Todd Carney, although his photo is now up on the club site's squad page. Well, I think it's a photo. It's either a random silhouette of a player or he's now got so much ink on him, you can't see any facial features any more.

Jones with Evalds outside him for me is much more robust than Evalds with Johnson outside him.
Think Lui can feel fortunate that Carney hasn't got the nod yet and made the trip as he'd be the one experiencing the worst squeaky bum after Saturday.
Wood can't get near the 17 if Tomkins is fit, think he will start and Brinning come on, he looks to be very quick off the mark so is ready made to make the most of early season fitness levels after 30 minutes or so.

I know it prob won't be this, but I'd go with;
1. Obrien 2. Carney 3. Welham 4. Sau 5. Evalds 6. Lui 7. Dobson 8. Kopczak 9. Tomkins 10. Mossop 11. Griffin 12. Jones 13. Flanagan
14. Brinning 15. Tasi 16. Krasniqi 17. Lannon

With who/what's available think Astleyred has the best 17 we can put out, when BMM & WH come back and Carney signs there really is a cracking 17 with many options to mix it up.

Personally I would have Brining starting as Tomkins isn't likely to be fully match fit yet. I agree with you @michiganred we've got a strong 17 when we've got a healthy squad.

See what you mean about Tomkins but no good Brinning starting, putting it all into the 1st 30 minutes for Tomkins to come on and not then last as long as he should. Think Brinning looks like he could do a good long shift and it should be interesting to see him and Leeming going head to head.

As mentioned early and I know it's all hindsight but if / when everyone's available plus Carney, looks a more than capable 17.
1. Obrien 2. Carney 3. Welham 4. Sau 5. Evalds 6. Carney / Lui 7. Dobson 8. Kopczak 9. Tomkins 10. Griffin 11. BMM 12. Jones 13. Flanagan
14. Brinning 15. Tasi 16. Mossop 17. Huaraki

Spotted that the Gas Club down the road from the ground isn't opening up tomorrow night. Shame as it's a decent place for a pre-match booze. I've pleaded our case on FB but might need an alternative watering hole.

There's a couple of decent pubs on either side of the train station, but my personal favourite en route to the ground is The Sportsman.

Just beyond the stadium is the Ropewalk: next to the cinema. But not my cup of tea (or GK Abbott). There's always the Yorkshire Rose on Leeds Road which has a Marston's bias. But the Sportsman is superb and worth the recommendation. As are the two in the station. BUT for the keen real ale fan: the Wood Street Craft Beer House.

Absolutely no idea if it's walking distance, but the Magic Rock Taphouse would be well worth a visit too.

I'll be trying to find a way to watch/listen to the game near Antwerp Cathedral so guaranteed the beer will be better
