Can't imagine any owner telling players they are quitting during a season with so much to play for. If this was true I think we would have lost a lot more players than we did. Either way the club could have done a lot more to keep him. This just seems like another bullshit story that always seems to happen at Salford.

When mason signed for Wakey he wasn't getting a game for us, once he'd already signed we got injuries and he came back in and had a run of impressive games. Can't blame either party really for what happened. I expect he will be back sooner rather than later.

Personally I'd prefer a quality nine or a back row forward over an outside back. If we have aspirations for success Tomkins isn't the answer or makeshift back rowers. (Far from the level of BMM) Don't get me wrong I'm not rubbishing anyone I just think these are areas that would benefit the team much more. I'd just see Vatuvei at his age as another Francis Meli type signing. Yeah this wrong mate, these are our strongest areas. I've complained about acting half for 20 years, but no I feel content . We need a flyer more than ever, must be a few gems in the championship |

I heard about 2 weeks ago from a very reliable source, that we were getting a NZ winger and posted it on this site.
But the comments from MK can mean anything and IB is talking about the salary cap being full, so it's business as usual, a chaotic mystery.
Let's hope he's just here for a look-see 8's.
