I'd like to think that we are in the market for a marquee signing to strengthen the quality we already have. We have quite a lot of depth in most positions so not much need this season for a knee-jerk/desperation signing. Quite agree and my only worry is that they're happy with what we've got! |

Seem to be off topic as far as rumours go but hey ho. I still think we need another prop. Our forwards have been outstanding yet again this year but I think to add a bit of depth and competition and the opportunity to give players a rest if the double header weekends continue would be an asset. I'm going to go all Louie Walsh now...someone like a young James Graham. Maybe we're ok with the kids we've got coming through. Dan Murray for example. We've got Adam Walne and Lee Mossop missing through injury, and a great prospect in Dan Murray. In saying that, it would be great for us to get a World Class Prop. Dave Taylor at Canberra is off contract at the end of 2017 I believe. I'd love us to sign a Sam Burgess-type player though. We can dream! |

Well Paul Gallen has missed his chance to play for us, as he has signed to play for Cronulla for next season. More fool him, he will look back on his career and regret not playing for the mighty Salford Red Devils |

Winger for me and a flyer as well. Love Jodie back. Forward wise, think we need to give youngsters more game time. Bar Bibby and the young full back we haven't much coming through in backs.

It was said last year we wanted Jodie Broughton as he wanted to come back to England. But that was last year before the MPG fiasco and the inability to sign players which seen us miss out on a few.

Thought Jodie was great when he played for us,I was there when he scored 4 in Perpignan BUT his pace is down. like all of us he's a bit older now. |

It's true to say that a good set of signings 2-3 would set our stall out, distract us from worrying about the semi and help turn the page on what looks sadly like a Lui departure. Has anyone seen enough championship games to tell us about possible SL type players? Obviously age, right position need and turn of pace for backs. Good yardage, offload, experience, game time and defensive stats for a forward. Sounds like a shopping list - "I'll just pop down to Tesco's for a second rower, back in five everyone!" And now Langi has gone to Leigh! Shhhhhhh!  Don't tell you know who, we'll never hear the last of it! |
