I wonder if we made bids for Wardle and Turner? Could have done with both of them.
Assume we're going to increase the playing staff by a nett 3 or 4 next year i.e. About 6 in total with a couple leaving..

Apparently Warrington offered more but another Powell charm offensive. Perhaps we could get Powell as Assistant Coach. Saying that, Wire or Cas? No brainer at the moment. Too true the Wolves are the new Leeds. On the rumour front and the signing front it's a bit lacking once again isn't it? |

Interesting that Moley figures SKD is more likely to join Newcastle next season. SKD on a short term deal until the end of 2017 then? Why though? What short term problem does it solve? At the moment, Jake Bibby is doing pretty much as good a job as Justin Carney was doing, but without the unforced errors and daft penalties. If the club were to sign a three-quarter, surely it should be someone that could solve the problem of the squad not quite having length of the field try scoring pace (except for Rob 'Lightning' Lui, of course). I think the bigger need is at prop. It looks like two of the front line props - Mossop and Walne - are long term injured, so perhaps they should be looking at that area, maybe seeing if it's possible to do a Dolly the Sheep on Craig Kopczak. |

He is happy here, that much is clear, but reading between the lines that enthusiasm may not be shared by Mrs Lui. I hope that they make the right decisions for themselves, even though from a personal selfish point of view I'd love him to stay on. |

IB has said the kids were happy in school and his partner liked it here. I had heard that he'd signed but they were holding the news for the next home match, as usual. But another rumour.

I thought it was a genuine comment, you don't know what effect it might have on player or potential recruits decisions.
I'll just run the prediction league then, can't be arsed with a forum where someone can't ask a valid question or raise a salient point.

Remember that players rarely stay loyal to one club. It's about their journey, not the clubs they play for. A fact of modern sports. |
