To be fair, the additions this season are decent quality. I think a lot rests on who slips into Croft's shoes.

33 or not he has gotten a lot better as he’s aged might not be a starter but if he came on from the bench he would make an impact
Yeah Eddie signed with Sheffield but he would have been a good signing for us

Battye I'm not sure about TBH. He's always been a grafter but he's not the biggest and never really been a line breaker when I've seen him. I think we've got similar already. We need a couple of big units. No idea who but maybe a project from the Championship which is always a risk as for every Tyler Dupree there's a Carl Forster/Luke Menzies. |

Definitely a no for ashurst we really don’t need a old sr in the squad we have Watkins, stone , Wright, duxion, foster and potentially shorrocks what we need is 2 big out and out props

With eddie if we use him right he could be a great player only if he is used right

Battye 33 and only 5’9” has gone to Sheffield on a 2 year deal…can you stop asking about 2nd rowers CW and MTR in meltdown already…Ashurst was good and we should have kept him 10 years ago…but now

Yes a great servant if the game…I think we got him from Saints and then let him go along with Dixon and Sneyd…great business again Brian Noble (for him probably)

So looking at Shorrocks getting signed and then also 2 Wigan forwards on loan - maybe Hill and possibly Byrne ?
