Sadly not much left now Dixon…I’m sure him and zBlease will just have to get what’s left with the reduced funds available…but I’m sure we can guarantee that they’ll improve anybody they bring in
Think Blease will have to try and move a couple on Addy, Gerrard??
Survival year…your 20,points target would be a good achievement, I think.
Remember tho Hastings, Lussick and Croft were not stars when they arrived…so we probably live more in hope than expectation

I've heard Lachlan Lam is leaving Leigh, can't see it being for us so probably for an NRL club. It leaves them short in the halves too, but with bigger pockets and purse strings to tempt targets.

Was it not stated the new cohort of players and sponsors had been sorted some time ago and they were to be revealed incrementally, bit by bit to maximize "ecstasy and deep joy" over the close season. |

Agree CW, usual naive cloak and dagger…not v mature….can’t see the point and everyone known about Ryan for months
It was stated a few months ago that we were spending to the Full salary Cap…ok £2-300 k gone but Dupree income £200k and Community income £300+… we never hear anything and what we do hear isn’t backed up or sadly seems to have little value…but buy your season ticket

I kind of understand the club wanting to drip feed news over the off-season to keep fans engaged and possibly push season ticket sales. If I was the club though, I'd maybe have an extended early offer on season tickets and make sure to release the names of signings in a burst during these dates to maximize uptake of the offer. The club has always done this drip feeding thing and I just think it's a bit old hat now as, like others have said, we all know who they've signed months in advance in most cases. Maybe the stats show that it's a viable way and works for them, I just think there's a few tricks they are missing.

The shorter early offer this year was probably the need to get cash in asap…
All sounds negative but as has been said on here many times it’s lots of floss and words that never materialise into delivery, info that’s out of date by months, and info shareholders would want that never materialises…you get more info on here than from the Club…they need to be like Rowley..up front open honest and deliver…that will engage Salford folk.. but this smoke n mirrors stuff is naive and a waste
So who’s the surprise signing tonight…Foster??

Yeah from the looks of it last year Rowley preferred Partington as a prop instead of a loose so definitely could see Shorrocks ending up there with him doing well at 6 for Wigan last year when needed
