Has anyone been to a Sale game at the AJ. Is there a massive difference in what they offer on match day? I have a ticket in 1873 for Salford and often wonder what the same ticket would be like at a Union game. I think what I’m trying to say is are we missing something that attracts such numbers.

I hosted the Copperheads trialist for a week back in January and I took him to watch Sale v Bath. I’d enquired about a meal and was told that their pre-match hospitality is about £180 a ticket and it’s generally sold out. I paid £63 for two tickets (£47 for me and £16 for a junior ticket) only to be told by Rowles that he had been given 5 tickets FOC and didn’t use them. Sale also draw fans from right across the NW so when we were queuing up there were plenty of scouse accents around us. They also give loads of free tickets out which masks the true numbers of paying fans. RU is boring as hell to watch so I won’t be going back anytime soon |

This was mentioned on the clubs letter sent out today Salford Red Devils can also confirm that the club has rejected an offer for an unnamed player this week Heard a rumour last week Hull KR had “signed” Dupree, with an side note of we are financially up the creek. It wasn’t from a verified source so hopefully pinch of salt, but todays news did make me wonder |

People need to get real. The 250k will I am sure will be hit and see us through 2023 but much depends if we progress from there.
PK Darent sell any players whilst the share issue goes ahead as it would completely destroy the situation.
After that we have home games against the monied clubs Saints, Pies, Wires, Leigh, Leeds, Hull etc. So I would guess we will be averaging 6k by season end.
If so and we manage to make the Play Offs then I am confident we should be able to retain the better players in our squad.

I see people are being negative towards the club for being honest about another club with money wanting one of our players. Credit to Paul King for being transparent that’s the whole reason we’re building a community share fund to invest and bring sustainability to our great club. Guess you can’t please everybody. |

I heard Marwan Koukash was setting up a new team called Chester Racers and is signing all our players with Jon Welllens and Frankie Dettor as coaches

150000 offer for Dupree from hull kr!also last month offers for burgess Watkins Ackers and Croft!the players are all aware of the situation but have all said want to stay and would only leave if last resort for club.

It's a real double-edge sword. We need to keep the player to keep performing, hopefully, win something, and increase crowds... but we need increased crowds to keep the players. I imagine if we don't start hitting 6k next season we'll have to sell players, which sets up back. Increased sponsorship could make up for it, and isn't the TV deal due at the end of this season?

Bet all this makes it hard for blease trying to sign players for next year. Thinking if they come we might have to sell you in a few months. Not a great situation to be in going forward.

Players don’t come to us for the money, I think they enjoy the team spirit we are building.

Jouffret and Walmsley from Halifax would be good squad additions. Jouffret a definite no, flattered to deceive for a number of years. ;Liked the look if Walmsley when he was at Whitehaven but not sure he merits an overseas spot, pretty sure we can do better. |
