Thought heโd signed 6 months ago or is all the news just being released slowly. I'd not heard his name mentioned before. Of course, it may have been a while back and my damaged brain cannot recollect... It hasn't been officially announced and I know someone who works with a family member of Deon and he is frustrated that his name has not been put out there as yet.

Just another of these stupid publicity lines that the Club are doing. Just tell us the coaching set up the new players etc. Itโs a poor show again.

Pity I really liked him. Total class, so much ability and totally unappreciated by Watson
Struggling now, down to 5 wingers

Total class, so much ability and totally unappreciated by Watson Struggling now, down to 5 wingers ๐ More worried about centres - Watkins out til March/April, Sarge banned as often as he plays. Costello gonna be busy! Livett can cover there too I agree itโs a shame. Whether his body is up to another season in SL only he will know but heโs got plenty of class and skills that will be missed

Gutted about Inu. One of the problems with him though is that it generally took him 7/8 games to get up to speed as he was always unfit at the start of the season.
I'd go as far as saying he is probably the Salford player I've enjoyed watching the most at the AJ Bell. Granted he's cost us a few games with some world-class brain farts๐ but he's a freak of an athlete and his offloading ability and his sheer power have been a joy to watch.
I'd have loved to have seen him at his peak as he's been a damn fine player even in his later years.
Wish him the best of luck and I may even make a trip over to Lezignan next summer to watch him play if can fit it in.๐
PS. Anyone able to name the 2 ex-Reds who have also played for Lezignan? One I was aware of but the 2nd was a surprise!

I think he played for Carcasonne but I could be wrong!
