Can't see him being needed unless we already know that BMM is shot for the season, if he is do we pay him off and deregister him?
A back is more of an urgent need.

Just had a shock and realised that it's only 3 weeks until KO and it struck me the normal flurry of rumours when we need to sign someone haven't materialised. Think even before the injuries to JJ & BMM we all agreed that we were a utility back light, hope the silence is due to better management of recruitment rather than a lack of actual activity.
Do we still have 2 quota spaces? if that were the case Lovett and Kevin Naiqama are the only two names I've heard, adding both would add hugely to the squad.

Colton Roche has been approached by a number of SL clubs. I don't know much about him. He was training with Wakefield before the start of the season and they didn't offer him a contract. A quick look at his stats suggests he's nothing more than a utility forward. |

As for Evalds going to Leigh I doubt it, if we don't retain him you can be sure one of the big boys will see his obvious potential and pounce as Wigan did with Escare from Catalan.

Which big boy though? Cas - Hardaker Hull - Shaul Wigan - Tomkins Saints - Lomas Warrington - Ratchford Leeds - Handley/Golding Cats have Gigo, huffs have Malmo (?) Doesn't leave many teams on look out for a FB |

Wouldn't surprise me if he ended up at Saints, no other reason than a hunch. For me I'd keep him as an out and out winger, has the defence, speed and that much needed knack of being in the right place at the right time.
